Libraries are well situated to meet the needs of their lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans* and queer/questioning individuals, as well as supporting their families and allies. This half day conferencewill provide participants with a forum to discuss programming, collection development and outreach efforts that help librarians show these unique populations that they're welcome in our libraries. Each topic forum will be facilitated by librarians who have had great success in these areas and allow for participants to take home ideas and inspiration to apply to their own library.
