Organizations Concerned with the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
  • Al-Awda "The Palestine Right to Return Coalition (Al-Awda is Arabic for "THE RETURN") is a broad-based non-partisan global democratic association of thousands of grassroots activists and organizational representatives concerned for the Palestinian Refugees Right of Return."
  • Alternative Information Center ". . . a Palestinian-Israeli organization which disseminates information, research and political analysis on Palestinian and Israeli societies as well as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict . . . ."
  • Brit Tzedek v'Shalom ". . . a national organization of American Jews [who] believe the vast majority of Israelis and Palestinians long for an enduring peace and that security for Israel can only be achieved through the establishment of an economically and politically viable Palestinian state, necessitating an end to Israel's occupation of  land acquired during the 1967 war."
  • B'Tselem, the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories ". . . endeavors to document and educate the Israeli public and policymakers about human rights violations in the Occupied Territories, combat the phenomenon of denial prevalent among the Israeli public, and help create a human rights culture in Israel."

  • Islamic Association for Palestine ". . . an American grassroots organization dedicated to the cause of Palestine . . . [it] focuses on the issue of the Human rights violations against the Palestinian people under occupation."
  • Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions "ICAHD is a non-violent, direct-action group originally established to oppose and resist Israeli demolition of Palestinian houses in the Occupied Territories."
  • Jewish Friends of Palestine ". . . an open ended project that hopes to expand into various forms of activism in the future."
  • Jewish Unity for a Just Peace ". . . an international gathering of grassroots Jewish activists who support a just, viable and lasting peace based on the principles of international law, requiring a complete end to Israel's Occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip."
  • Jewish Voice for Peace ". . . a diverse and democratic community of activists inspired by Jewish tradition to work together for peace, social justice, and human rights."
  • MIFTAH, the Palestinian Initiative for the Promotion of Global Dialogue and Democracy ". . . a non-governmental non-partisan Jerusalem-based institution dedicated to fostering democracy and good governance within the Palestinian Society in a manner that promotes Public Accountability and Transparency while maintaining the free flow of information and ideas."
  • Not In My Name ". . . a Jewish peace group that was formed in November 2000 to work for a just and lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians."
  • Palestine Solidarity Campaign ". . . the largest and most active campaigning organisation in the UK on the issue of Palestine."
  • Palestinian Centre for Human Rights ". . . an independent legal body based in Gaza City dedicated to protecting human rights, promoting the rule of law, and upholding democratic principles in the Occupied Palestinian Territories."
  • Rabbis for Human Rights "RHR was founded in 1988, in response to serious abuses of human rights by the Israeli military authorities in the suppression of the Intifada. The indifference of much of the country's religious leadership and religiously identified citizenry to the suffering of innocent people seen as the enemy was a cause of concern to RHR's organizers."
  • SEARCH for Justice and Equality in Palestine/Israel ". . . a national non-profit human rights and educational organization, founded in 1972, which seeks a just Israeli-Palestinian peace based on the inalienable rights of both peoples."
  • Stop the Wall Campaign "The Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign is calling for: 1) the immediate cessation of the building of the Wall, 2) the dismantling of all parts of the Wall and its related zones already built, 3) the return of lands confiscated for the path of the Wall, and 4) the compensation of damages and lost income due to the destruction of land and property."
  • SUSTAIN (Stop U.S. Tax-Funded Aid to Israel Now) ". . . committed to building a campaign against U.S. military and economic aid to Israel so that U.S. tax-dollars do not support the abuse of human rights."
  • United Nations Information System on the Question of Palestine "UNISPAL was established and is being developed by the Division for Palestinian Rights in response to successive General Assembly mandates. The main collection contains the texts of current and historical United Nations material concerning the question of Palestine and other issues related to the Middle East situation and the search for peace."
  • U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation ". . . a diverse coalition working for freedom from occupation and equal rights for all by challenging US policy towards the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."
